Support Us
WPCA is a non-government funded, not-for-profit, charitable organisation. Our funds come from donations, profit from the op shop we run and fundraising activities. Our overheads include rent costs, administrative costs, and upkeep on the housing services we provide. Whalers endeavours to maintain the lowest possible overheads and to achieve sustainable revenue, to ensure every dollar we receive can be used with impact. We rely on donations of goods from the public which are sold in our Garage Sales and Emporium (Op Shop). Several community groups and service clubs within the Fleurieu support us with generous donations for distribution to those in need.
We stand by our Moto “Local People Helping Local People” and we are proud of our outstanding achievements in assisting vulnerable people within our community for approximately 20 years.
